Clerk Typist

  Develop the skills needed to perform Clerk Typist I position:
Keyboarding- 

  Increase speed to at least 40 WPM.
Word processing- 

  MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Generate letters, reports and  

  charts up to an intermediate level.
Administrative- 

  Operate computer, perform data entry answer telephone.
Organization & Planning-

  Improve communication, time management and team working skills. 

 

Computer Technician

Build your own computer with the instructors help and bring it home

  when you finish with a one year warranty.

Learn how to install components and peripherals

Install the operating system in a computer

Maintenance and repair of the operating system

Install printers, scanners, video and sound cards...

Repair damaged computers

Learn how to change components and to uninstall programs.

 

Network Systems Engineer

Hands-on experience with personal PC networks systems using Windows 2000® operating system. Students will be exposed to the topics found on the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer® (MCSE- Windows 2000® track) exam. Will learn how to install, configure and administer the Microsoft® Windows 2001®, design and build a computer network using The TCP/IP protocol, etc. Will also receive life skills training and job placement services.
